This year at Kings Highway School, we have been focused on building an engaged school community. Students have been introduced to a schoolwide goal that emphasizes being engaged learners and positive community members, along with the important role they play in helping us achieve it. Teachers are exploring our goal more deeply in classrooms so students can develop a better understanding of what it looks like in practice. Throughout the month, staff will be recognizing students and classes who demonstrate behaviors connected to the three components of our goal, helping make KHS a place where everyone learns, grows, and belongs.
