During this first grade music lesson, students at KHS worked in groups of three to find instruments around the room that would create a leitmotif for their animal puppet. A leitmotif is a recurrent theme in a musical composition. Mrs. Laurino, music teacher, told a made up fairytale, including all of the puppets at different times. This was a wonderful exploratory activity!
