Kings Highway School's fourth graders from Ms. Kouvaris’ class have been working on interest-based projects that connect their passions to mathematics. Students had the opportunity to choose a topic they are genuinely interested in and explore how math plays a role in it. Some topics include the planet, dogs, rock climbing, and many more! Through research, data collection, and real-world problem solving, students are discovering how math is all around us in meaningful and engaging ways.
