Last year in second grade, Kings Highway student, Anthony, was inspired by Ryan Hreljac, a young Canadian boy who helped build wells in Africa, to make a difference himself. Anthony created a local plan and has since led two food drives, donating hundreds of items to a local pantry, Homes with Hope. He personally delivered and even helped shelve the items himself, showing care and empathy for others. “Feed the World with Anthony” is just beginning, and KHS is lucky to have such a compassionate student.
