Kings Highway School participated in National Inclusive Schools Week, embracing the message Every Voice Matters—a belief that each individual’s unique perspective enriches our school community. Throughout the week, students engaged in meaningful activities across all classrooms and special area classes. In music, students learned to sing using sign language, while in PE, they explored stations emphasizing physical differences. In art, they collaborated on a powerful Change Mural. Library/ITL and Spanish classes featured read-alouds that sparked discussions. Our student leaders also took an active role, visiting classrooms to read Say Something by Peter Reynolds and facilitating an activity inspired by this empowering story about finding your voice and using it to make a positive difference in the world.
