Some interested fourth-grade students from Ms. Kouvaris' class at Kings Highway have been hard at work on their passion projects, aligning with our school-wide goal of increasing student engagement. Each student chose a topic of personal interest and explored how it connects to math. Topics ranged from popcorn and volcanoes to sports, reflecting a wide variety of interests. Students then presented their findings to their classmates, sparking excitement and curiosity. The enthusiasm was contagious, as many classmates were inspired to begin their own research journeys.
