KHS invites families in once a month for a before-school activity. Our latest event was Rise and Play, where families joined us to learn about and enjoy a variety of math, literacy, and strategy games together. It was a fun opportunity to connect and start the day in a positive way. Students loved sharing the experience with their families, and the library was filled with smiles.

From "The Cheetah Breath" to "The Drawbridge Breath," Mrs. Massey’s kindergarten class is discovering the power of deep breathing to calm their bodies and minds. By teaching these relaxation strategies with their fifth-grade buddies, our young KHS students are helping one another learn and grow in a calm environment.
