KHS held its second annual Culture & Identity Night, and it was a wonderful celebration of the diversity and stories that make our school community so rich. It was heartwarming to see families exploring the displays, engaging in meaningful conversations, and learning from one another. Events like this remind us of the power of connection and community, both of which are central to this year’s KHS school goals.

Led by Ms. Laurino and Ms. Jones, interested students gathered after school to learn a traditional lullaby, complete with singing and drumming. They also discovered the significance of sweet grass and practiced braiding the grass themselves. It was a meaningful opportunity to stay curious and deepen their understanding of the people who make up our world!
