Mrs. Griffin, KHS Literacy Coach, "crafted" a way to bring Kings Highway School even more together. Stemming from our recent One School One Book community read, Ranger in Time: Oregon Trail by Kate Messner, Ms. Griffin invited students to create quilt squares to share about themselves.

The First Grade "Kindness Squad" at Kings Highway School plans for projects that help our school and make others feel good. Recently, the group decided that our school grounds needed a spring clean up. Students gathered to clean up the KHS' common spaces. It was productive fun!
