KHS participated in National Inclusive Schools Week. All classrooms read and discussed All the Way to the Top: How One Girl’s Fight for Americans with Disabilities Changed Everything and read other books about differently abled characters. Each day students watched a short clip on Cheetah Vision celebrating inclusivity and/or differences. Special Area Teachers planned special activities to support learning this week.
Kings Highway School's second graders are studying Ideas About Government: Roles and Responsibilities in social studies.
